'EMOTION REGULATION' WORKSHOP - WEDNESDAY 22nd NOV | 6.30 - 8.30pm
All parents “lose their cool” from time to time. So do children. Strong emotions are a part of life, and there are lots of ways we can manage these emotional weather systems that sometimes catch us off-guard.
In this workshop we will look at the ways our brains are wired to get upset, and how everyone in the family can learn how to return to a place of calm and self-control. We will explore simple mindfulness practices to build the brain pathways to inner calm, as well as looking a little deeper at our triggers and the ways to work around them.
